Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it when you use LastSeenPlaying (the “Service”), a free gaming-activity tracker. The Service detects which games you play (via Discord Rich Presence), builds a personal journal and statistics, and can send you push notifications. It includes our Android app (package come.flywith.me), our websites at lastseenplaying.com, and our backend. The Service has no ads and no payments, and we never use your data for advertising.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

Who we are

The Service is operated by Ijas Ahammed J (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at capedcrusader2099@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

We collect only what we need to run and improve the Service:

  • Account & login: your email, your account ID, and the provider you signed in with (Google Sign-In). Used to create and secure your account and to sign you in.
  • Profile: your username, display name, bio, and avatar image. Used to show your profile, subject to your visibility setting (public, friends-only, or private).
  • Connected Discord account: your Discord ID, username, avatar, and whether you are a member of our Discord server. Used to identify you on Discord and to enable game tracking.
  • Gaming activity: the games you play, when and how long you play, and your library and ratings. This is the core feature: we read your gaming activity from Discord Rich Presence to build your journal and stats. This data can reveal when and how much you play.
  • Notifications: your device push token and your notification preferences. Used to deliver and control push notifications.
  • Basic technical data: the minimum needed to run and secure the Service, such as your sign-in session and your device time zone (used to localize your stats).
  • Usage & analytics data: to understand how the app is used and to improve it, we record product-analytics events — which screens you view and key actions you take (for example: starting a sign-in, creating your account, linking or skipping Discord, and deleting your account) — together with attributes of your account such as your username, whether your Discord is linked, and when you signed up. We also collect your app version, session information (when you open the app and roughly how long you use it), and your device type and operating system. This is tied to your account ID and an app-generated anonymous ID. We do not include your email, display name, bio, avatar, or any free text you enter (such as search terms or account-deletion feedback), and we do not record your screen (no session replay).
  • Approximate location: we estimate your general location (such as country and city) from your IP address, for analytics and security. We do not collect precise or GPS location.

We do not show ads, sell your data, or process payments. Game information and artwork shown in the app come from third-party sources, but we do not share your personal data with them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the Service:

  • Supabase: our database, authentication, and file storage. Your account, profile, avatar, gaming history, and device tokens are stored here.
  • Google: Google Sign-In (to authenticate you) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (to deliver push notifications to your device).
  • Discord: Discord Sign-In (to authenticate you) and the source of your gaming activity via Discord Rich Presence; our bot reads which game you are playing.
  • Northflank: hosting for our backend server.
  • PostHog: product analytics. PostHog collects the usage & analytics data described above so we can understand and improve the Service. Screen recording (session replay) is not enabled, and we do not use analytics for advertising.

Some of these providers (such as Google, Discord, and PostHog) operate in the United States, so your data may be processed in countries other than where you live.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (which you can do at any time from within the app), all of your associated data is immediately and permanently deleted, and we ask our analytics provider (PostHog) to delete the analytics data associated with your account. Some information passes through our systems only in transit (for example, notification content) and is not stored.

Your rights and deleting your account

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at capedcrusader2099@gmail.com.

You can permanently delete your account at any time, directly from within the app. Deleting your account is immediate and irreversible: it instantly and permanently erases all of your data from our systems, including your profile, your entire gaming activity and history, your library and ratings, your linked Discord details, your device tokens, your notification preferences, and your usage & analytics data. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered. Signing out of the app only ends your local session and does not delete your account.

You can also control your data inside the Service today: set your profile visibility, adjust notification preferences, unlink your Discord account to stop tracking, and edit your display name, bio, and avatar.

Children

LastSeenPlaying is a general-audience app for people who use Discord and play games; it is not directed at children. Because the Service relies on Discord, you must meet Discord’s minimum age and be at least 13 years old (or older where your country requires a higher age) to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us at capedcrusader2099@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, access to your data is restricted so you can reach only your own, and we do not use advertising identifiers (such as the device Advertising ID) or track you for advertising. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
